Quick Gravity

An After Effects Preset by Jesse Toula

Description:

Quick Gravity takes all the work out of creating realistic physics of an object dropping and bouncing on the ground.
The expressions are all set up for you, so its as easy as dragging and dropping. Use the controls (described below) to
control the look of your bounce. Many complex functions go into this expression to make everything work and look perfectly.
Feel free to look though the expression. I have added comments to explain each part of code.

If you have any comments, questions or issues, please feel free to leave a comment at http://www.batchframe.com/blog,
or send an email to contact@batchframe.com.

Quick Gravity Controls:

Amplitude: Controls the height of your bounce. The default is 1920, but this value may not be aplicable for your project.

Frequency: Sets how often a bounce occurs.

Decay: Sets the number of seconds your object takes to stop bouncing.

Drop Offset: Sets the number of seconds the object will hold in place before beginning to drop and bounce.

(On/Off): Turns on and off the effect of the preset. Useful for positioning your object where you want it to end up.

Auto Frequency: Mimics real physics more closely by speeding up the frequency as the bouncing continues.
